Role:
Assess technical practicality of testing solution, designs in an array of technology platforms.
Create automation solution that supports the product and engineering road map.
Script solutions are required to be scalable, high performant, maintainable and meet high quality standards
Supports and maintains the defect management process.
Identify opportunities to implement test automation.
Adhere to and support standard QA procedures and methodology.
Development of testing and automation best practices.
Development of automation test scripts with Python, Robot framework (or) building ground-up with any open-source tools.
Knowledge on AWS preferred.
Strong Knowledge of building tests for Rest API.
Strong understanding of CI/CD integration.
Strong knowledge on STLC and SDLC- Documentation, Test strategy, planning and test methods.
Experience in shell script/Linux/basic PostgreSQL preferred.
Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives.
Work closely with developers and business owners to define testing needs.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
3+ years of hands-on software test development experience, including both functional and non- functional test experience within an agile cross-functional team environment.
2+ years of experience in test automation
2+ years of experience with Selenium based test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework
1+ years of programming experience using Python
1+ years of experience in developing database queries in PostgreSQL test data management
Good understanding of Project Management and Test Management tools such as JIRA and Xray
Experience with AWS is a plus
Experience with git is a plus
Knowledge of financial industry is a plus
Strong background in QA processes, the Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in a global team environment
