Automate test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Write scripts and using automation tools execute test cases automatically, reducing the need for manual testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and delivery of software updates.
Collaborate with QA teams and developers to define test strategies and plans for automated testing.
Identify test scenarios, prioritize test cases, and determine the scope of automation.
Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
Maintain and update automated test suites to ensure they remain effective and relevant as the software evolves.
Document automation processes, test cases, and test results to provide clear and comprehensive documentation for stakeholders.
Provide training and support to QA engineers and developers on test automation best practices, tools, and techniques.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of automated testing practices.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or relevant streams.
4+ years' experience as an automation quality engineer
Experience in developing Test automation scripts for Web applications in Cypress using TypeScript / JavaScript language or on Selenium.
Experience in creating Test automation scripts for backend REST API / Microservices.
Experience in creating Test automation suite for smoke test, build acceptance test, performance tests.
Experience in BDD using Cucumber.
Experience working in enterprise software applications in a n-tier architecture.
Preferred:
Experience in integrating Test automation suite with CI/CD pipelines like GitHub actions.
Experience in cloud-based platforms like AWS (preferred) or Azure
Experience in developing Test automation scripts for Mobile / Desktop applications in Appium using Java language.
Experience in performance and API test automation scripts using K6 or JMeter or similar frameworks.
Experience in the healthcare industry
Experience with querying any RDBS database or NoSQL DB.
