As an automation test engineer, you will be familiar with design, build, test/ simulate and deploy effective test automation solutions. You will have a good experience with descriptive programming. You have a passion for creating great software and applications in an agile scrum environment.
Responsibilities:
Selection or identification of test cases for automation from existing test case documentation
Creating/Updating an automation test plan and getting approval
Select, Design, develop, and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver. (TestNG, BDD framework using Cucumber)
Configure Selenium Test Environment for setup (ex: Java, Selenium WebDriver and TestNG, Jenkins, etc.)
Integration of test automation suits with CI/CD pipeline
Test suits optimization and improving ROI
Creating/Updating, Enhancing, Debugging, and Running Test Cases.
Organizing, monitoring defect management process Handling changes and conducting regression tests, and generating Automatic reports
Scheduling the scripts to run and send reports to the Team and stakeholders
Coordinate with Team and client and solve their issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/B.E. or equivalent
5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer in a technology firm. Medical domain experience is a plus
Should have Excellent coding and debugging experience in Java and or C#
Expertise in automation tools -Selenium, different frameworks i.e., TestNG, BDD implementations using Cucumber and CI/CD Pipeline
Experience with working in a scrum team
Strong fundamentals in Algorithms, Data Structure, Operating Systems, Databases
Ability to understand existing Test Processes, Plans, and Scripts and identify improvements and efficiencies
Strong oral and written communication skills
