Job Summary:
The PLM Automation Test Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and coordinating the testing activities and implementing Automation test cases for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, specifically focusing on Teamcenter and Siemens products. This role involves providing guidance, coaching, and support to the testing team to ensure the successful execution of test plans and strategies for these specific platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers in executing test cases and reporting defects for Teamcenter and Siemens products, utilizing automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Develop and implement test plans and strategies tailored to Teamcenter and Siemens Applications such as NX CAD and Process Simulate etc., with an emphasis on automated testing methodologies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define testing requirements and priorities for these specific platforms, incorporating automated testing practices.
• Monitor and track testing progress, including automated test coverage and results for Teamcenter and Siemens products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of Teamcenter and Siemens PLM systems, leveraging automated testing solutions.
• Provide guidance on testing best practices and methodologies specific to Teamcenter and Siemens products, with an emphasis on automated testing, to the testing team.
• Identify training and development opportunities for test engineers to enhance their skills in automated testing for Teamcenter and Siemens platforms.
• Communicate regularly with management on testing status and issues related to automated testing for Teamcenter and Siemens products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience, 10 years in software testing, with a focus on Teamcenter, AWC and other Siemens products.
• Hands on Experience with SOA and ITK Customizations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
