Design and develop automation framework and automation test suite for the customer facing front end applications for the Resideo products and services.
Responsible for creating test plan, test case design, test case execution, defect tracking, bug reports, and test report preparation
Responsible for setting up the test environment and execute developer level integration testing during development phase to ensure quality in deliverables.
Participate in the integration of the latest technological stacks in a rapidly changing environment
Identify and propose technical improvements using your software engineering knowledge and principal
Work with Product owners, technical team members & customer operations teams to help resolve issues and escalations

You Must Have
Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering (Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communications or its equivalent)
6 to 8 years IT/Engineering Experience
Strong hands-on experience in in Mobile application – Automation & Manual testing
Expertise in programming and scripting languages Java / C#
Expertise in manual test design, test plan, use cases development, test strategy creation
Ability to manage test automation framework in GitHub/Bitbucket and end to end automation coverage/metrics
We Value
Experience in API Test Automation with scripting skills preferably in C# / Java is an added advantage
Experience in manual testing in cloud-based applications and possess excellent knowledge in Functional Testing and API Testing (Postman / SOAPUI) is an advantage
Experience in Web application testing - both Manual & Automation with Selenium, Cucumber/BDD., is an advantage
Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, GIT, Crucible, Sonar or other CI tools
Experience in Agile / SCRUM based development is an advantage.
Should be a good team player and able to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
