Essential Skills:
8+ Years of experience & well versed with Agile Ways of working (Scrum, SAFe)
5+ Years of exposure in handling enterprise scale test releases, with good hands-on experience in functional, Non-functional testing along with defect management skills
At least 3 years of hands-on test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, Serenity, Cypress, Gauge, Cucumber
5+ Years of Telecom domain experience with knowledge of either OSS or BSS functional flows
Problem solving attitude, with good troubleshooting and software debugging skills.
Knowledge of DevOps, with exposure to Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) software practices and tools
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Role & Responsibilities
To lead enterprise scale test releases, involving System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT and production testing
Collaborate with Test program manager, Product Owner, Business Teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of software build with excellent quality.
Liaise with scrum teams for defects/bugs found during testing, generate end to end testing reports, represent testing team in program forums, enforce good practices leading to good quality outcome.
Build test automation scripts using programming language – Java/Python/JavaScript, managed using code repos such as Bitbucket, GitLab
Analyse and identity test automation scope while taking responsibility of Quality control for a scrum team or a group.
Define and execute environment strategy for SaaS/PaaS hosted applications to ensure successful completion of testing as well as test automation.
Build and maintain CI pipeline for a project or even automation test suites using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins
Prepare test plan for a Sprint or Program Increment (PI) by collaborating with engineering leads, domain leads, developers, and testers in team.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within software engineering group, by promoting adoption of latest trends and technology in software testing and thrive to innovate.
Highly Desirable
Knowledgeable in OSS/BSS in Telecom domain.
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or Engineering.
Experience in testing COTS, microservices based architecture applications.
Good debugging & troubleshooting skill set.
Good to have exposure to AWS/Azure cloud services.
Good to have exposure to Infrastructure as code practice.
