We are seeking a highly proficient Automation Tester who is passionate about software quality and automation. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our software applications through automated testing processes. You will work closely with the development team to implement and maintain test automation frameworks and test cases. Your expertise in C#, Specflow, Azure DevOps, manual testing, and testing processes will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Specflow.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify test cases for automation and implement them.
- Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test plans.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify and report software defects.
- Perform exploratory testing to discover new edge cases.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the quality of the software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews to provide input on testability and quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Use Azure DevOps for test management, test case creation, and test execution.
- Provide clear and concise test reports and document defects in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in C# programming.
- Strong knowledge of Specflow for behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Experience with Azure DevOps for test management and continuous integration.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and processes.
- Familiarity with software testing best practices, methodologies, and test design techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of other programming languages or scripting languages.
- Experience in performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
