Job Scope:

Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing, and inspection to access software product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Accountabilities

• Designing and developing test automation scripts, using test automation guidelines.
• Hands-on working with the team in designing, developing, implementing automation solutions, maintaining, code reviewing existing automation frameworks, identifying the improvement areas, and implementing solutions
• Contribution to enhance the quality of the automated systems, as well as add high value to the software products
• Conduct UI Level test automation, data automation, API automation, POCs for both functional and non-functional requirements, integrating these solutions as a part of continuous integrations
• Demonstrate vision to avoid test flakiness, by identifying and categorizing the tests to different levels Unit, Component, Integration, UI and implementing proper tools and mechanisms
• Support in implementing & compliance of the Quality Engineering Strategy defined by the organization for functional, non-functional requirements
• Participate in a framework which leads to continuous improvement that enables to make decisions early in the software development life cycle.
• Deep understanding of Testing & Engineering principles, methodologies, tools, (Selenium Web Driver, Automation Frameworks, Other scripting languages).
• Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing and documentation.
• Researching issues in software through testing and keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
• Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.

• Education & Experience
  • Engineering Graduate/ Postgraduate from reputed college with excellent academic record
  • ISTQB® Certification desirable
  • 05-10 years of total testing experience of software products, of which minimum 5+ years’ should be in developing automated test frameworks
  • 4+ years’ experience in Selenium programming (Selenium with C#)
  • Good in exploratory testing and hands on experience in Selenium Web driver
  • Experience with testing frameworks like pytest, TestNG and API testing
  • Experienced in working with databases, writing SQL queries, CI/CD pipelines
  • Standard software development practices including SCRUM, automated testing, deployment pipelines, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, etc. 
  • Should be able to articulate the details and present expectations very well to team
  • Should have strong communication skills both verbally and written (English).
