Hands on Automation Testing using
1 - UFT (lead experience with UFT Project MUST)
2 - Hands on experience with automating either SAP or SalesForce Project MUST
Requirement:
Minimum 5 years of experience with developing test automation frameworks in Java, JavaScript, or C#.
Minimum 5 plus yrs exp using UFT
Minimum 3 years API automation testing experience.
Minimum 3 year of experience with developing and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
3 years of experience regarding Page Object model and the creation of reusable test methods.
Minimum 1 year of Experience using source code management tool such as git.
Minimum 2 years of experience in mocking data from API to perform testing.
Overview -
Automation Lead play a vital role in the SDLC by implementing and maintaining the framework used to perform automated Regression and Feature testing which provides the ability to ensure no breakage has occurred with the integration of new code/features. Lead is responsible for automation framework development, script design, task allocations, team oversight , deliverables review and status reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and maintain automation testing framework for Regression and Feature testing.
Constantly improve test suite to ensure tests are stable, independent, and able to be executed in parallel to minimize execution time.
Analyze new features within the current sprint to ensure corresponding changes are implemented in the framework.
Analysis of API layer and Unit testing layer to ensure proper allocation of test cases/scenarios.
Integration of automation testing framework in CI/CD pipeline.
Collaborate with manual testers to ensure proper implementation of test cases.
Collaborate with developers to implement test cases as soon as possible, ideally during the same sprint.
Implementation of automatic reporting of test execution results.
Analyze failed test cases to determine if failures were due to a scripting issue or due to a valid software bug.
