Candidate will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, SREs and Change Management to guide new features from inception to release, instilling a quality mindset and improving team velocity. This opportunity will report to the Quality Engineering Manager.
In addition, you will drive change by leading or engaging in:
Develop and expand Test Automation and Test framework.
Modernise existing framework to more DevOps associated.
Develop automation for mobile apps offering UX and Performance from server, CDN & network.
Develop devops solution to integrate testing task over CICD pipeline and beak build over failures.
Design quality gates and checkpoints for any automated builds over CICD.
Build testing strategy for entire application stack including unit, integration, regression, performance and end to end testing.
Conduct software testing, verification, validation resulting in fewer defects being released to production and fewer incidents caused by changes.
Continually improve strategy and tests to ensure optimal coverage and efficient QE practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Software Engineers to define how new applications/features should be tested and drive automation for the same.
Ensure existance of adequate, comprehensive and obfuscated test data for Ford Credit products.
Create and maintain testing evidence to be compliant with any/all audits.
Identify and encourage the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, testability, observability, eventing and maintainability.
Use technology to improve business outcomes and more efficient processes.
Support development teams in troubleshooting.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
2+ years of QE Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working in environments with complex quality engineering strategy for business solutions with several integration points.
Experience in testing cloud based solutions.
Experience with automated testing, test data management and continuous feedback.
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Experience working in the financial industry is a plus.
Experience with SAFe and/or Agile methodologies.
Skill Set:
Must Have:
Strong Scripting knowledge in Java, Python, Java Script and Groovy .
Must have hands on Experience in Developing Automation Framework for UI using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber BDD, Tosca , Playwright and Cypress.
Experience in using build tools – Gradle, Maven and Testing Framework like TestNG.
Must have Experience in Performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
Must have Experiene in GitHub and GITActions
Must have experience in API Automation using Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured for APIs and web services and microservice architecture.
Very strong experience in CI/CD pipeline (preferred – Tekton & Cloudbuild & Jenkins).
Must have Public cloud experience especially GCP.
Must have working experience in Mobile cloud like Headspin, Perfecto etc.
Must have working experience in Real device [Android & iOS] Automation.
Must have muti channel integration experience.
Hands on experience in to compute engine, prefrabely GCP Cloud Run and Kubernetes / Containers.
Must have experience in DB validation [OnPrem and Cloud DB QL, etc]
Must have strong knowledge in data visualisation via Extent Report and QlikSense.
Ability to work in diversified global projects
Nice to Have:
Knowledge on Current Market Trends about the Automation tools and Framework
Exposure to Unix and Linux environment
Exposure to Monitoring tools like Grafana.
