You will develop, implement, and own the software test-strategy for a large SW platform of semiconductor domain.
Ramp up and structure the test- and QA-activities at our different global software development sites
Promote the Software Test-strategy cross-functionally
Build up positive relationships to our software development teams and external test partners
Discuss our test-strategy with external customers
Be a member of our global software management team
Identify hot spots of low quality in software and drive necessary counter activities
Ensure efficient and fast test cycles utilizing our global setup and the state-of-the art test-environment
Develop your own team towards high-quality execution.
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelors, Master-/ University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline.
With 10+ years of experience in software testing will be an ideal fit.
Professional Experience as Test Director or Senior Test Manager for large, distributed software organizations (Germany, China, US, Japan, India, …) and handling team size of 100+ employees
Profound knowledge of software test processes, models and tools
Experience in a system-driven environment (HW + SW)
Practical know-how with software tests on different levels (module, integration, system test)
Experience with agile development and test methodologies
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborate and work with cross function teams
Good to Have Qualification:
Proven practical know-how of modern Software test concepts, -environments and tools
Knowledge in a Red Hat / Eclipse based development and test environment (C++, Java)
Good network to the agile testing community to get new insights and ensure continuous improvement
Experience working with Scrum and SAFe methodologies
Experience in regulated environments and processes (Medical, Automotive, ASPICE, …)
Knowhow in semiconductor industry
