4-7 Years of experience as Embedded System Test Engineer.
Hands on experience in Embedded controls coding – Gateways, Python coding experience.
Hands on experience and understanding on Sensors, Transducers, PLS technology, hardware interconnectivity.
Experience is developing/creating hardware setups which includes sensors, PLCs and embedded gateway controls.
Must have experience in communication protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP and IEC61850
Knowledge of software and hardware architecture of embedded control systems and different I/O devices.
Experience in IoT based product testing.
Experience in hardware and software simulators uses in testing.
Excellent within troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Must understand electrical concepts like voltage, current, power, active/reactive power etc.
Understanding of AWS services and Cybersecurity concepts are added advantage.
Strong communication skills.
Good multi-tasking capabilities, time management and organizational skills.
You are motivated and are willing to learn and develop yourself.
Having good expertise in Stakeholder Management.
Preferred to have ISTQB Certificate or similar
You will be responsible for
Requirement reviews and clarification.
Writing system level test cases and review test cases by team members.
Test setup preparation and maintenance.
Complete sanity testing on standalone and Pre-prod and Prod-environment.
E2E setup preparation and support – Sensor, PLC or Gateway devices.
Debugging and testing Embedded control devices in detail.
Support in reproduction of defects and closely work with development team to resolve the issues.
Quickly verify the feature and defects before releasing build.
Lab setup and maintenance and ensure safety at workplace.
Very good knowledge of testing system application using Modbus RTU/TCP communication protocol and IEC61850 and reporting defects in detailed with sufficient level of data to reproduce or debug issue.
Have good understanding of Database and can write SQL queries to test Gateway database.
Good knowledge of Python and/or Embedded C/C++ to understand code flow and do small code modification to make it testable.
Closely working with security team to check all security checks.
Status reporting to related stakeholders
Having strong understanding of Requirement engineering and designing solutions.
Challenge requirements against standards and harmonized processes.
IT service and change management after project closure.
Have good understanding and hands on experience of Cloud/IoT platform.
