Responsibilities:
• Serve as a single point of contact for the database/back-end testing phase of a project
• Define and implement best practices for test
• Develop and maintain a test strategy
• Ensure and be accountable for the quality of the product releases
• Understand the overall scope, and ensure the correctness and completeness of the test scripts
• Design and develop test scripts
• Execution of test scripts, log defects and perform retesting
• Track defects to closure by working with the development team
• Report the status of testing on a regular basis to all the stakeholders
• Interaction with clients/business stakeholders
• Assist in test effort estimation and forecasting
• Guide teams to be self-organized, and promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, innovation, continuous improvement, and celebrating success
Mandatory Skills
Strong educational background (degree in Computer Science or related field)
1-4 years of strong experience in Black box Testing and ETL Testing
Experience on SQL Server or equivalent & writing complex SQL queries.
Experience with Web Services standards/technologies (HTML, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, Juni).
Strong ability to work closely with Developers and Product Owners to ensure features.
Contribute to sprint planning, sprint review/retrospectives, and daily stand-up meetings.
Strong ability to create, update, and review test planning, test cases, test data, and test scenarios.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug Life Cycle
Involved in various testing like Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Good experience in API Testing (REST) using POSTMAN, Swagger UI, and UNIX commands.
Work closely with the Business/Product team and get involved in the early stage of Requirement analysis.
Rapid adaptation to new technologies and tools
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
Efficient self-learning and independent problem-solving
Understanding of data structures and graphs
Preferred Skills-
Subject Matter expertise in the healthcare domain
Experienced in Agile/Scrum SDLC & tools like JIRA, Confluence
Background in the US Healthcare industry
