Interpret functional specifications and translating them into test requirements and test plans.
Manual testing of new features.
Identifying, logging, tracking and resolution of software bugs.
Conforming to QA processes, work instructions and standards.
Provide support, training and assistance to others including peer reviews.
Provide prompt escalation of functional, technical and project issues to Management.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in all that we do.
Makes recommendations and directs improvements to the software development lifecycle process.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team-building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
Perform Automation Testing in addition to Functional Testing, so testing automation knowhow is MUST.

Skillset:
Should have overall minimum 7- 12 years of experience in Functional Tester with Omni background, 401 K .
Background in US Retirement Benefits Administration domain must have.
Professional experience of web software testing
Knowledgeable in software Quality Assurance practices.
An understanding of integration, regression, and acceptance testing methodologies
Knowledge in web applications, including understanding the underlying architectures
Experience with writing SQL queries
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong desire to break software in creative but controlled manner
Detail oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
Ability to be flexible as new projects are assigned.
