As a Quality Engineer at United Airlines, you will be responsible for the delivery of application/system-specific projects and programs. This includes creating and executing test strategies,plans, test cases, perform manual and automated test execution, automation scripting, defect management, environment validation, and performance testing. In this role, you will closely collaborate with application development teams and business stakeholders to ensure that the software product meets quality standards (functional/performance) through manual and automated testing.
Functional / Automation / Integration / Performance Test Analysis, Execution & Automation. Must be able to develop automation tests scripts using one of the programming languages like Java, Python, selenium.
Act as Subject Matter Expert and mentor junior QA resources to improve their skills associated with the testing services.
Onsite-Offshore Coordination & Responsible to define strategy for test data modelling and provisioning
Defect Management
Develop accelerators and solutions to improve efficiencies of testing activities as per the project needs.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree
Computer Science
2-4 years of relevant experience
Day to Day delivery of projects related to applications and systems.
Implement automated testing processes to streamline and expedite the testing efforts.
Work with distributed teams
Ability to work under time constraint
Support during off / CST hours during production deployments
