Job Description

As an IKC QA Manager of Information Technology at United Airlines, you will be responsible and accountable for day-to-day supervision and direction of QE Engineer related roles across multiple cross-functional areas. You’ll directly supervise the IKC Quality engineering professionals. In this role you’ll have accountability leading Quality efforts on multiple projects and/or a large program that consists of multiple testing tracks is a must. You’ll works closely with US senior managers, managers and SME leadership team to influence technical and architectural aspects of computing platforms.

Lead Resource Management efforts including mentoring, coaching performance appraisal of IKC, Capacity Planning and Budgeting
Accountable for leading and delivery of quality efforts on multiple projects and/or a large program that consists of multiple testing tracks and applications, 
Solve complex problems such as reacting to technical limitations for test automation, late delivery of QA builds, scope creep, emergency changes, shifting priorities etc.
Research and resolve people and project issues; provide recommendations; escalate to senior management as needed

Bachelor's degree
Computer Science or Computer Engineering
8+ years of Software Testing
5+ years of management
AWS Cloud Practitioner
ISQTB / CSTE or similar
Loadrunner
Prepare and communicate KPIs related to efficiency, cost, and quality. 
Support COE Quality governance team for Test Automation/framework, Entry/Exit Gating criteria, metrics & OKR/KPI reporting, adherence to defined standards and tools. 
Support DevOps CICD implementation
Good exposure to Agile and similar SDLC processes and Software Test Life Cycle processes. 
Good exposure to Application Life Cycle management tools such as Jira/ADO/HP ALM, Miro board. 
ISTQB/CSTE or similar Certifications required. 
Exposure to DevOps (CI/CD) practice. 
Experience in analyzing Load/Performance testing requirements. 
Well versed in Test Automation tools (Selenium or similar) 
Exposure to Test environment and Release management concepts 
Ability to support during off / CST hours during production deployments. 
Exposure to Cloud Technologies
