UST is looking for a QA Engineer who can handle following responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions that enhance the reliability, scope, and efficiency of quality assurance efforts against a range of platforms and products, both internal and external.
• Have a solid understanding of coding and programming languages and how to apply them effectively.
• Maintain industry-standard metrics as well as specific account-related metrics for adjusting internal QA standards.
• Deliver high-quality, low-to-zero defect releases.
• Work with Technical Lead and other developers to define/understand test requirements.
• Provide good estimates, including risk assessment, for accurate commitments.
• Manage and assess testing workload and communicate for additional resources needed for the release.
• Create and track/triage bugs for fixes and resolutions throughout testing.
• Identify potential build and timing problems as early as possible, flagging to the Project Manager Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience writing quality code using objected oriented language such as Java or C#.
• Experience in manual testing, including writing Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in designing and developing test automation and tools using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.
• A great understanding of APIs and experience testing them using Postman, REST, and Swagger.
• Experience with continuous delivery practices with tools like Azure and CircleCI (branch management, version control, pull requests, code reviews, running tests in CI/CD, clean code).
• Must have knowledge of MySQL and write basic queries.
• Familiarity with Test Management Tool like Azure TFS or TestRail.
• Experience using a defect-tracking tool like Jira or Azure.
• Experienced with debugging tools such as Datadog, Charles, and Inspect is a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices is a plus.
• Experience with Saucelabs is a plus.
• Experience with Appium for Mobile Automation (iOS and Android) is a plus.
