Job Responsibilities:
Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure that software meets specified requirements.
Report and document identified issues in Jira, and work closely with the development team to resolve them
Apply knowledge of different methodologies and API testing to design and execute comprehensive test strategies
Learn and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts
Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications
Assist in creating comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements
What We’re Looking For:
1-2 years of hand-on experience in software testing, test case designing and execution
Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Basic knowledge of database concepts
Familiarity with manual testing processes and techniques
Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Experience with Jira or any Bug Reporting/Project Management tool.
Qualifications:
B.Tech/B.Sc. in Computer Science or allied fields or BCA?MCA
