Mandatory technical skills required:
Automation testing:
Minimum 2 years of automation experience using tools requiring extensive scripting/ coding knowledge (Selenium with Java/ Python/ C#, Exposure to frameworks TestNG etc.)
Complete understanding of automation frameworks(Involvement in framework designing is added advantage)
Hands-on knowledge of operating Vulnerability Assessment scanners like Nessus, OpenVAS etc.
Hands-on experience in languages used for automation – Java/Python
Hands-on experience in defining automation flow for better coverage (Quick to grasp automation opportunities and solution visualization)
Manual testing:
Understanding of QA methodologies and techniques – effectively using them in day-to-day activities
Understand test cases well and able to define if needed
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Reporting and communication:
Ability to communicate effectively with team and management
Good to have:
Hands-on experience of CI Tools e.g. Jenkins
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or any other
Knowledge of Web Services testing
Experience of client server model-based products and desktop clients
Exposure to mobile applications testing
Kubernetes and Container technologies
Roles and Responsibilities
Understanding requirements, test cases, test cases flow, creating effective automation scripts
Automation execution and analysis of failures
Collaboration with team for inputs and feedback of test cases
Take ownership of product modules and ensure timely delivery of automation suites
Guide teams for understand requirements and provide pointers for designing boundary cases and efficient test model
