We are looking for an experienced software tester with expertise in Revenue Management Application. The application tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications through comprehensive testing, identifying, and reporting application bugs, and working closely with developers to resolve any issues.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and test resolution of software defects
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on applications
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for applications
Provide regular status reports and updates to management on the progress of application testing and quality assurance activities
Continuously evaluate and improve the application testing process
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in application testing and incorporate best practices into the testing process
Ensure appropriate lifecycle plans are created and implemented in compliance with required SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience in application testing for complex business process applications
Testing experience in Revenue Management Application (Model N) is a plus
Experience with test automation tools and enterprise test management suits like ALM
Strong knowledge of application testing methodologies and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience in automated testing
Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Worksoft Certify
Experience in creating, implementing, and executing automated test scripts for web-based applications
Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile development environment
Ability to identify and troubleshoot defects in software applications
Knowledge of one programming language, such as Java, Python, or .NET is a plus
Understanding of SQL and experience writing basic SQL queries is a plus
Familiarity Advanced functions or Macro’s of Excel is a plus
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Subversion is a plus
