In this role, you will:
Lead and accountable for software testing for Billing and to Identify opportunities to improve delivery and oversee the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions.
Identify the most appropriate Technology solutions, liaise with other engineers, architects and business stakeholders, to understand and drive the testing team towards 0 defect goal.
Promote a positive work culture based on respect for people, integrity of actions, creativity and collaboration leading to increased productivity.
Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end-to-end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge.
Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service and keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools and technologies.
Manage the reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to committees and make recommendations to influence decision making to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
12-15 years proven experience as an Automated Tester, with a focus on designing and implementing automated testing solutions.
Leadership qualities with ability to lead and mentor testing team.
Proficient in programming language commonly used in test automation, such as Java and Python.
Strong understanding of Testing methodologies, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies.
Experience with industry-standard testing tools ad frameworks (eg. Selenium, Junit, TestNG, Appium).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools.
Strong skills and experience in leadership, people management and stakeholder management, technology strategy and planning.
Should have good communication skills, capable to analyze the requirement in detail and identify the gaps if any at initial stage and highlight it.
Perform Gap Analysis between the current process and desired state, manage scope changes and assess the impact of the change.
