Responsibilities:
Work with business partners to understand functional and non-functional requirements and design test scenarios for coverage
Implement tooling that enables automation of functional testing that is embedded into the CI/CD pipeline
Define strategy, enable tooling and drive execution for non-functional testing including performance, resiliency and chaos testing
Maintain up-to-date process documentation on all aspects of DevOps/SRE
Provide support to the UAT team in areas test scenario definition and knowledge transfer
Provide reporting to the PMO team on progress metrics and status
Own the test environment and maintain a utilization plan to ensure availability to support all in-flight projects
Research and evaluate testing methodologies and tooling for emerging technology such as blockchain and smart contracts
Lead and manage a team of SRE engineers for the execution of all these priorities
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Minimum 12 years of hands-on software development experience with at least 5 years in DevOps/SRE and Quality Engineering
Technical hands-on experience on Java technologies
Sound experience in the payments domain with good understanding of the business processes
Experience leading a Scrum team or Kanban team
Working experience in large financial institutions in projects involving multiple system interfaces and interdependencies
Expertise in failure scenario analysis, contingency and resiliency strategies
Experience in owning or managing testing infrastructure and familiarity with UNIX
Strong communication and presentation skills
