Job Description

As a Testing Engineer, you will have experience in the software testing life cycle (STLC) – test planning, test case creation, environment setup, execution, and reporting. In this position you will utilize numerous testing types including black-box, exploratory, functional, integration, regression, and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and comfortable learning new skills, frameworks, and tools regarding test automation management and execution. Candidates who can naturally excel in a position that is technical/analytically focused within established systems, standards and procedures will find satisfaction in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze technical requirements/specification and documentation to plan, develop, and implement test plans and automated test suits.
Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
Assist in the automation of back-end, API, front-end, and other test cases utilizing Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or other frameworks
Track, maintain, and document automated testing suits for system characterization
Understands usability standards and ensures a positive web experience
Work within the defined software testing life cycle (STLC) and software development life cycle (SDLC), utilizing coding standards and best practices
Collaborate with Scrum team members to provide support to customer objectives and goals in a professional and organized manner
Deliver project roadmap and client objectives on-time, communicating clearly with team, management, and stakeholders
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

All About You/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile approaches to software development and implementation
8+ years’ Experience working with large and complex North American enterprise customers.
8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or similar role
Flexibility and availability to meet the demands of a 24/7 support operation. 
Experience within the STLC, Selenium, Appium, JMeter or other test automation frameworks
Experience with TFS/VSTS, test management tools and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with REST/SOAP API architecture
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (t-sql)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and a customer-first approach.
Strong leadership, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize high volumes of incoming issues. 
Advanced problem-solving skills: demonstrating the ability to identify, define and understand a problem, perform root cause analysis, and research effective solutions for the customer. 
Proven ability to maintain a professional demeanor when handling complex customer and internal issues.
Strong commitment to quality and customer service.
Comfortable working remotely and be able to work across time zones and with remote teams.
