Job Description

Roles & responsibilities:

• Inbound/Outbound Testing - Perform comprehensive testing on inbound and outbound files to verify their accuracy, completeness, and integrity.

• API Testing - Create and execute API test cases (CRUD operations) to validate data exchange between healthcare applications, services, and systems

• ETL Testing - Test ETL processes to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading into target databases or data warehouses/data lakes. Validate data mappings, data quality, and data integrity during ETL operations.

• Web Testing - Ensuring functional coverage of the UI workflows. Data ingested via HL7, CCDA, and API appear correctly. Also includes multilingual, multi-browser, and cross-platform testing.

• Test Strategy, Planning, Estimation, and Documentation - Develop comprehensive Test Strategy, Test plans, Test scenarios, and test procedures based on project requirements and standards. Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, test summary, and defects found. Effort Estimation and QA schedules for agreed projects based on business and technical requirements and specifications. • Interoperability Testing - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform interoperability testing with various healthcare IT systems, APIs, and ETL processes. • Issue Identification and Reporting - Identify, document, and prioritize defects, anomalies, and issues discovered during testing. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution.

• Quality Assurance - Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy, processes, and best practices for healthcare IT projects.

Qualifications:

• B.E. /B. Tech/MCA with 8-10 years of testing experience.

• Good to have knowledge of HL7 standards, including message types, segments, and data types.

• Knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards, such as HL7 FHIR and CCDA.

• Proficiency in API testing tools and methodologies.

• Experience with ETL testing tools and techniques.

• Familiarity with healthcare information systems, EHRs, and healthcare data integration.

• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.

• Experience in working with testing tools (e.g. JIRA, X-Ray).

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Healthcare domain knowledge is a significant advantage.

Certifications :

• ISTQB Certified - Preferred

• HL7 certification(s) and relevant testing certifications are a plus.
