Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify and define testing strategies that transition into detailed test specifications for existing and new features, oversees implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests to ensure the product being released is up to industry and company standards
Able to mentor, perform peer review or train other team members
Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by the project team (functional/technical) along with validating the project documents like functional requirement, technical design, deployment documents.
Ability to ensure that solutions developed by development teams fit the business needs
Ability to offer alternative approaches to achieve the business goals
Identify creative ways to uncover and report defects
Identify test strategies that transition into detailed test specifications for existing and new features
Participate in performing/leading Netsuite release upgrade testing
Identifies risk and creates plans to mitigate it
Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on time project delivery
Try to setup automation testing for Netsuite, willing to learn test automation tools
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Comfortable working in evening hours (2pm to 11pm IST)
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the IT/software industry with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Netsuite
3+ years as functional/QA with experience in integration, regression, and performance testing, documenting test cases, and communicating test results with development teams
Strong functional knowledge of O2C, P2P, MFG, R2R process and flows
Should have experience with Netsuite Workflows, fields, saved searches, forms, roles/permissions, custom objects, reports and dashboards
Familiar with software quality assurance best practices & methodologies
Understanding of test driven development, software development lifecycle, Agile and Waterfall processes.
Experience with other SaaS/Cloud ERP, CRM systems like Salesforce/SAP is a plus
Experience in automation testing is also a plus
