You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation toolsets, automation plans and test cases for Informatica MDM products and solutions. This role will require experience in automating both backend and UI components for Enterprise software products built Java, Database and scripting technologies. This role will work with Program Managers, Product Architects, Product Managers, Dev and QA engineers on a day to day basis in designing and building Automation testing components as well as in testing the product features.
Key Responsibilities:
Review requirements, design documents to create test scenarios and test cases
Design and build automation tools that will be used to automate testing for our product
Automate backend and UI test cases and continuously improve automation coverage and code coverage
Contribute to the team initiatives in improving testing processes and practices
Execute test cases as per the test plan and provide status report on execution progress
Isolate and report bugs and track them to closure
Requirements & Qualifications:
5+ years of enterprise software product testing experience required
Strong programming skills in Java and other programming and scripting languages
Experience developing test automation using Java, Selenium and Rest Assured a must
Experience with Continuous Integration systems
Experience working on Linux/Unix environment
Well versed with Software Testing methodologies and techniques
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of Big Data ecosystem would be a big plus
Prior exposure to performance testing and security testing would be nice to have
