Leads a team of Testers in a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications and/or client requirements.
Revises and approves test plans, test estimates and peer review of test scripts.

Maintains control over test systems and source code.
Plans applicable test phases and ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved. Often asked to solve problems of a complex or non-routine nature.
Documents and formalizes the Test/QA procedures, so that the process can continually be reviewed and improved.
Revises and approves quality assurance and testing policies, standards and procedures; ensures alignment with global IT strategy and/or development plans.
Determines the appropriate quality initiatives to implement during each phase of the system development life cycle.
When specializing in QA, oversees the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures and methods.
Ability to work collaboratively with a cross functional team in other regions.
Furthermore, you will:
Participate in requirement review sessions with BAs for multiple client specific NME projects.
Collaborate with the Developers and BA teams to support, enhance and deliver releases.
Engage in technical reviews on proposed testing solutions.
Work with peers and Release Approval Board for technical reviews and approvals through the Software development life cycle.
We expect you to have:
Over 10 years of Software Testing experience with at least 2 years in a lead/manager role.
Expertise in writing scripts and automation in Python.
Hands on working knowledge in Linux/Unix platforms.
Experience in Shell/Perl scripting is a plus.
Expertise understanding of SQL database, database concepts and should be able to write database queries.
Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science.
