We are looking for a competent and enthusiastic Automation Test Engineer / Manual Test Engineer to perform software tests and ensure quality of software applications. This vital role will ensure we are able to provide a high-quality end product to internal and external users. This position requires strong technical and communication skills as well as both independent and team working capabilities, including working closely with all other areas of the of the Technology department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform QA testing: inclusive of unit, systems, integration and regression testing, and support development of test automation
• Develop system acceptance criteria, functional test plans with a focus on coverage, performance and automation.
• Support cross-functional teams in integrated test efforts.
• Identify process improvements, error trends and/or the root causes and make recommendations for remedies to the team.
• Build and implement scalable, reusable test automation frameworks
• Creating manual and automated regression tests
• Review of software requirements
• Investigating, raising, logging, and closing defects
• Executing manual and automated tests
• Documenting test results, and compiling results into consolidated high-level reports
• Building and improving automated test framework
• Participating in agile ceremonies (stand-up, planning, reviews)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (in a quantitative field such as CS, EE, Information sciences.
4+ years of experience as a Tester/QA.
Experience in preparing Test scenarios and writing Test cases for UI, Functionality, API and Database testing.
Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, TestRail, Git, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, Cucumber, CI/CD pipelines, etc
Experience with TDD, BDD frameworks and automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber/Gherkin
Strong experience in setting up load/stress testing frameworks like JMeter, LoadRunner
Well versed with various types of testing (like integration testing, regression testing, performance testing vulnerability testing)
Familiarity with various Document and data formats JSON, XML, etc.
Technical Documentation - Test case, Test Plan, Matrices and Reporting. Prior start-up experience is a plus
