Translate requirements into user stories and create clear acceptance criteria when defining testing strategies.
Understands continuous integration and continuous delivery; capable of building robust, automated testing suites through all environments.
Understand how exploratory testing is utilised in an agile environment, and understands how to perform unscripted testing. Strong Test Engineers work with the team to implement test charters which give exploratory testing sessions a clear mission, without being too prescriptive.
Proficient in the application of Behavioural Driven Development (BDD).
Executes operational acceptance tests, such as checking backup/restore facilities, disaster recovery procedures and the arrangements for performing maintenance tasks before releasing your software.
Test for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, to ensure that the product is accessible to the widest possible number of users.
Can undertake accessibility test wherever required
Can manage small teams and deliver independently
Manage the defect lifecycle and have the ability to advise on tests to put in place after fixes are made.
Knowledge & Skills:
Confidence & excellent communication :- Able to converse and interact with Product owners Delivery leads and Portfolio leads on Test activities
Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, UFT
Parasoft SOAtest, ReadyAPI SoapUI Pro(any one of them, ability for API test is primary skill )
Azure Pipeline execution and knowledge of QA- Devops operations is preferred
Browserstack
Java, React.js, node.js understanding of Frontend and Backend systems and can do basic debugging and configuration
Excellent analytical abilities and ability to debug and walkthrough issues
Experience:
>7- 12 Yrs. of Experience in QA Management and Test practice setups
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline.
