Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
Practical cloud native experience
Practical experience in Test Automation using JAVA, Selenium, Junit, Mockito, BDD, Saucelabs, UDF, Cucumber, API testing and Database Knowledge.
Must have expertise in BDD / TDD – Behavior Driven Development/ Test Driven Development
Continuous Integration model development and build tools: IntelliJ/Eclipse, Jenkins/Jules, Maven, BitBucket/Git
Understanding applications with Web services based implementation – REST based
Relational Databases hands on experience (Oracle, SQL )
Automation framework development using core Java
Experience in Test management Tools/Knowledge on Agile practices
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
15+ Experience in Automation and Manual testing, Knowledge on one or more automation tools
Good project management and Stakeholder management and Knowledge on SDLC and Agile
Strong problem solving and good analytical skills and Excellent negotiation skills & Decision making ability
Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a release and People management with 8+ years
