Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the team on overall testing approaches, and strategies.
Familiarity with Mobile Test Strategy and work experience in testing/handling Android & iOS apps.
Establish, maintain, and oversee all aspects of QA processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness and alignment to industry best practices.
Prepare, review, and maintain testing documents (test plan, test cases, test reports,) to ensure complete test coverage.
Manage proper executions by the QA team on different types of testing (Functional, integration, E2E, etc.)
Perform QA testing activities as required (test case preparation, testing, execution, environment setup, installation, etc.)
Facilitate and lead regular QA team meetings or triage calls across all products.
Prioritize testing activities.
Efficient management of QA resources across multiple projects
Provide strategic testing initiatives for projects to introduce efficient techniques and test productivity improvement.
Manage risks and deliverables to ensure that testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Responsible for reporting metrics, test reports, plans, and problems
Work and collaborate with other PODs across different locations and companies to achieve organizational objectives when needed.
Provide effort and estimates of testing activities required for the projects or deliverables when needed.
Manage or prepare demo presentations for projects deliverables when needed.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Monitor debugging process results.
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures
Conducting analysis checks on product specifications
Responding to requests from internal teams and management
Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
Execute manual test campaigns (including replay) and hotfix tests.
Document software defects, monitor the progress in a timely manner, escalate aging and priority defects.
Present test coverage matrix (link test requirements to test case)
Ensuring the team are on track in meeting year objectives.
Following Manual teams progress through 1-2-1 meetings.

Skills:
Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Test Lead
Strong Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and testing cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
High-level analytical skills / Critical thinker
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Tool Knowledge: Jira, Zephyr, confluence considered advantageous.
Web and Mobile software architecture knowledge. Appium experience is added knowledge.
Leadership experience is a plus.
ISTQB Certified
