Educational Background
Minimum B.S. Computer Science or other engineering degree includes computer science fundamentals.
Professional Experience
Possess 7-12 years’ experience in Software Engineering.
Experience with Selenium, Relational Databases, Soap UI, Apache JMeter, Postman
Hands on experience in Planning, developing, and executing test cases.
Hands on experience with creating & executing test strategies & Test architecture for IoT Embedded System Devices, Microsoft Azure DevOps UI & Webservices (Both Manual and Automation)
Experience applying software design, data structures, algorithms, and architectural practices.
Job Responsibilities
As a Lead Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and well-designed test automation software for complex systems.
The individual would have responsibility for working closely with other members of SW teams to understand requirements, SW Architecture and provide contribution and expertise in planning, developing, executing and maintaining test cases and automation focused on testing for OnPrem and Hosted SW applications and services in a fast-paced, high-demand Server environment.
Experience in both Manual and Automation test strategies, plan, execution, report generation and review
Creating Requirements to Test methodologies covering IoT Embedded Systems, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure DevOps UI & Webservices
Experience working within a cross-functional product development team and influence decisions
Mentor and train team members on design and coding.
Create test strategy, analyzing test results, identifying defects in software.
Design, code, and review test automation software for complex applications.
Enhance capabilities of existing test automation framework.
Analyze problems and propose solutions.
Work with the stakeholders to gather requirements.
Write technical documentation.
Knowledge and Skills Knowledge
Web based Test automation framework development.
Agile/Scrum development principles and practices.
Source control management such as Git and GitHub.
Skills
Java, C#, Python programming.
Design patterns for test automation.
Test automation framework development.
Good communication skills.
