Key Responsibilities:
You will be the main exit gate for the delivery towards customer
You will do thorough testing, ensuring quality is delivered throughout and will be responsible for the quality of the overall project delivery
You should be able gel with the team following agile way of working
You should be able to actively drive backlog refinement, story detailing
You will prepare overall test plan and write the story level test cases
You will interact with the customers/stakeholders and understand their requirements and propose the solutions
Drive the creation of a reliable automated testing suite with strong reporting capabilities that ensures simple, effective analysis of failures for your team to use
To succeed, you will need
Educational Requirement
Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience Requirement
Overall you have minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience into application testing manual as well as automation.
Required Skills
Strong working knowledge of software testing using Python/Advanced Python and Selenium/Behave/Playwright/Robot Framework
Hands on experience on Frontend Testing, REST API Testing, Database Testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing
Infrastructure - Jenkins, GIT, Docker, JIRA, and Confluence, DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
Have an eye for details and ensure good documentation is prepared as part of delivery process
Strong interest towards Software Quality Assurance
ISTQB Foundational level certification is an added advantage
Solid understanding of best practices and the Practical Test Pyramid
You are comfortable with different types and techniques in functional testing
You can zoom out to the big picture and identify functional gaps in the project
You can apply your ‘test’ mindset to exploring and understanding other teammates’ perspectives and can foster a commonidea of quality with all project participants
A basic understanding of testing applications from a security perspective in order to deliver secured quality software to our clients
Excellent English communication skills (written, oral), with good listening capabilities
Experience with agile development methodology (Scrum)
Preferred Skills
Experience with product development life cycle would be a plus
