Job Description

• Use your programming and automation test framework expertise to design and develop automated testing solutions

• Be a key technical player in contributing to the architecture evolution of our software/data Test Automation Frameworks and related capabilities

• Document and communicate automation framework functions, performance criteria, test cases and results

• Integrate automated test with CI/CD pipeline, interact with application development and testing teams to understand business requirements and system design

• Develop and enhance Test Engineering Automation solutions in a Continuous Integration environment

What you’ll have the potential to do:

• Coach and mentor a team of SDETs

• Partner with different stake holders - Product Management, Application Development, DevOps and other technical teams in planning and coordination

• Responsible for end-to-end Quality Assurance, making quick and reliable software releases

• Drive Test Automation and Test Efficiency Effectiveness Goals

• Setting up and improving best practices & processes for testing & automation

• Responsible for hiring and mentoring test automation engineers

What you will have:

• 5+ years working experience as a SDET Engineer

• 4+ years experience with one or more general purpose programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python etc

• 4+ years experience in Development or Test Automation Frameworks such as Selenium/TestNG or Javscript fraeworks/tools like Chai/Mocha/PlayWright

• Demonstrated knowledge of both manual/automated testing + black-box and white-box testing techniques

• Experience automation testing both application front end and back end APIs

• Experience with version control tools like GIT / BitBucket

What will be a plus:

• Well-versed in the Continuous integration and deployment (CICD) process

• Having knowledge in Design Patterns and SOLID principles

• Experience owning test strategy, planning and approach for a moderate/large area

• Experience selecting and configuring appropriate tools and frameworks to effectively drive automated testing.
