Job Description

We are seeking a System Integration and Test Engineer who will support GKN ePowertrain AWD/eDrive Product development.

Key responsibilities include:
Review and align system requirements and design test specifications
Work in close collaboration with system requirement engineers and system architects
Create, review and align system test specifications in co-ordination with system test manager
Develop test specifications and test cases against requirements as well as experience based tests
Develop and execute manual and / or automated tests on virtual test environment, target ECU and HIL
Analyze test results, evaluate fulfillment of requirements on target system level and create corresponding test reports
Establish bidirectional traceability
Participate in ASPICE audits (both internal and external)
Analyse Defects and Changes. 
Support Test Manager on detailed planning and team coordination. 
Setup and maintain the System testing environment.

Who you’ll be:
To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience on System Qualification test within the Automotive industry or a related environment. 

Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required
Essential Skills
Engineering or Post Graduate Engineering degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Automotive domain
Hands on experience in Powertrain or Chassis domain
Experience working with HIL and knowledge of system communication protocols like CAN/ CAN FD /LIN / Ethernet and diagnostics
Experience with Vector tools such as CANOe, CANAnalyser & CANApe
Hands on experience on configuration management tools like JIRA, SVN & Windchill
Competent in usage of tools like DOORS, POLARIAN & PTC Integrity
Experience on problem management tools like JIRA & PTC Integrity
Knowledge of use test equipment, including Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Wave Generator, etc.,
Review and understanding of System requirement and Architecture
Good knowledge of Powertrain, Diagnostics & UDS modules
ISTQB foundation level certification or equivalent

Tool Skills
PTC Integrity 
VT System or Dspace or ETAS HIL system
Vector vTestStudio, CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape
Perl/Python/CAPL scripting
