As a Lead Software Engineer in Test Automation, you will be responsible for
Developing efficient test plans and write automated tests in collaboration with the development team
Understanding the interaction of complex distributed systems
Designing, maintaining, and improving the test automation frameworks and tools
Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends to upgrade existing practices and processes
Essential qualifications and skills:
7+ years of experience delivering projects with a clear understanding of the overall software engineering process, i.e., analysis, implementation, automated testing, and deployment
Hands-on experience with creating frameworks and tools to automate backend, API, REST, and data testing
Proficient in the Python programming language
Experience working with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or CI workflows in Gitlab or GitHub.
Self-motivated, well-organized and a team player.
Knowledge in any of the following areas would be a plus:
Experience of working in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure etc)
Experience with containers (Docker) and their orchestration (Kubernetes)
Knowledge of location-based services such as mapping, navigation, GPS
