Position Summary:
Responsible for leading and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of a product. They are involved in all phases of the testing program, from designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, and writing up final test procedures
Your Responsibilities
6+ years with deep experience developing test automation scripts for large applications involving microservices, web UIs and APIs
Thorough understanding of QA concepts and quality standards for distributed applications and CI/CD pipeline processes
Strong hands-on experience with a major programming language: Java, Python, and similar
Strong hands-on experience with major testing frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, JMeter,
Build an outstanding and robust test automation suite and adapt to an automation first approach.
Be a leader with a point of view in the design and execution of test automation.
Fluent in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices
Experience working in small cross-functional agile teams developing user stories and codifying acceptance criteria
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Track testing tasks in the integrated product backlog and work in close collaboration with application developers to codify test cases
Implement processes to synthesize and manage test data
Understanding of Agile / Scrum.
Review business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, design, and architecture documents to build effective test plans.
Participate in creation of test plan, test strategy, test scenarios and test cases for each project and provide detailed estimates of QA efforts.
Collaborate with technical and business partners to write test scenarios based on requirements.
Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and automation scripts.
Maintain detailed documentation of test results, execution.
Report and track defects through Azure DevOps
Collaborate and troubleshoot with Software Developers to resolve root cause of issues.
