• Strong expertise in manual and mainframe testing
• Should hands on experience in batch testing using JCLs
• Good in debugging skills and has good understanding of COBOL programs, file handling, DB2 tables
• Experience in test case design at different levels (component/service, integration, end to end/user scenarios) or non-functional testing (depending on role)
• Experience in all facets of testing from Test Planning to Execution, Functional Testing and SIT
• Strong understanding of testing frameworks & methodologies (Agile Management Framework & Iterative Waterfall) and best practices
• Very good communication skills; ability to focus and prioritize and solve complex technical problems
• Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work along with business analyst
• Motivated self-starter who has natural curiosity. Collaborative Problem Solver
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Skills: Mainframe Testing, COBOL, JCL, DB2
Yrs. of Experience: 4 to 7 years
