We are seeking a Manual Quality Assurance Tester with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manual testing, logical reasoning skills, and the ability to work on web and mobile-based applications (Android & iOS). You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets quality standards.
Create and execute positive and negative test scenarios.
Perform database testing and write SQL queries for data verification.
Participate in requirement gathering and provide suggestions for enhancing user experience.
Provide accurate testing estimates and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Collaborate with teams using Azure DevOps, Jira, or related test management/bug tracking tools.
Work with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc., to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
Develop and maintain test plans and test cases, and execute test scripts.
Apply testing methodologies including waterfall, SDLC, and Agile.
Utilize expertise in banking and financial applications to enhance testing processes.
Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Maintain an understanding of QA fundamentals and the bug life cycle process.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients to address testing-related issues.
Work collaboratively with other teams at all project stages.
Demonstrate self-motivation, responsibility, dedication, resourcefulness, and long-term commitment to the role.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of JMeter and performance testing.
Certification in ISTQB or performance testing.
Qualifications:
3 to 6 years of experience in manual testing.
Proven experience in manual quality assurance testing.
Strong logical and reasoning skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with web and mobile application testing (Android & iOS).
Proficiency in database testing and SQL.
Familiarity with performance testing and security testing using open-source tools.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or related test management tools.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
Understanding of testing methodologies, including waterfall, SDLC, and Agile.
Experience in banking and financial applications is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
