Bolster seeks an experienced Manual Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our industry-leading AI-based products through comprehensive testing processes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and results.
Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure functionality meets requirements.
Perform regression testing to validate the impact of changes.
Identify, document, and report software defects and track their resolution.
Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
Collaborate with other QAs and development teams to define test cases and test data.
Maintain regression-related test documentation, test plans, and test cases.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.
Propose and implement enhancements to testing methodologies.
Requirements:
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Strong SQL database skills for data validation and database testing.
Experience with API testing tools and techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for ensuring software quality.
Good to have:
Experience with performance and load testing.
Familiarity with Postman & API testing.
Knowledge of SQL database skills for data validation and database testing.
ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
