A manual tester works in the quality assurance (QA) department. They perform manual tests for a product – to identify defects and ensure that software applications meet the company's quality standards. It involves creating and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Duties and Tasks of Your Particular Role
Analyzing the Requirements from user stories and do effective in-sprint testing.
Work closely with the development staff in all phases of development.
Communicate more with developers and end-users.
Participate in preparing Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test cases.
Prepare Test Datas for test cases and complete them.
Preparing Test Environment to complete test cases.
Analyzing Test Cases prepared by other team members.
Work with multi-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Experience in Blackbox testing.
Education
You must have BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech qualification with 3 years of confirmed ability on Manual Testing.
You must have
Experience in Report bugs and errors to development teams in a well-defined format.
Experience in Prepare test data and using associated test data to craft and develop test procedures and cases.
Good experience in testing Desktop Enterprise Application.
Manually completing the test procedures, Knowledge on test automation would be an added advantage.
Should be able to Conversant with agile software development processes / methodologies and exposure in working with multi-site global teams.
