Roles and Responsibilities:
• Good knowledge on test case design techniques, test cases writing with quantifying test coverage, test permutations & exploratory test.
• Basic programming skills in C#/Java/Python, and can debug.
• Basic understanding on design patterns and hands on exposure on the various test frameworks like keyword driven, BDD is desirable.
• Should have experience in using any Version Control tools like GIT, ClearCase.
• Exposure to CI tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Team-city; Knowledge on DevOps.
• Ability to multi task between multiple concurrent projects & adapt to project changes
• Clearly & effectively communicate with the product development team to share and clarify issues.
Behavioural Profile
• Adaptability to changing requirements, quick and eager learner (i.e. with an attitude to learn new skills/topics).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines on various projects simultaneously.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience – Desired:
• Software Testing Certifications like ISTQB/ISEB
• Should have minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Manual, Automation testing in engineering product domain
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience of Performance testing, load, Interface/integration testing, stress, soak, and security.
• Good Understanding of Plant Design Automation(PDA), Machine Design Automation(MDA) domains.
• Hands on experience of AVEVA or related products is an added advantage.
Other key desirable attributes:
• ClearCase, GIT, TFS
• Test Driven Development
• Experience with AVEVA or competitor products
• Experience of working in companies focused on the Engineering market, particularly for Oil and Gas Operations
• Experience in public speaking and presentation
• Experience in collaboration with outsourced or external development partners
