Education:
Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication or in a relevant stream
Experience:
3-5 years of work experience in testing of mobile applications for both iOS & Android platforms
Specific Knowledge: (Skill / Languages etc.)
Good exposure to manual testing concepts (specific to mobile application testing)
Experience in testing native & hybrid mobile applications on smartphones such as iOS & Android.
Expert level understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies.
Good experience in using Bug Tracking system like JIRA and test management tools like TestRail
Good understanding of Project Life Cycle and Test Life Cycle.
Excellent verbal/listening and written communication skills.
Must be a good team player.
Experience in automotive & telematics domain is a plus.
Experience with Agile Methodology is a plus
Areas of Work:
Work with App Development Team in India and co-ordinate with counterparts in Germany.
Analyzing requirements and understanding business requirement.
Creation and execution of comprehensive test cases.
Identifying Test Scenarios, edge cases and suggesting improvements.
Actively taking part in weekly status meetings with counter parts.
Conduct Manual Testing on various Mobile devices (iOS & Android) for Functional, Usability, Performance and Security aspects
Document test results and log defects in JIRA and report the progress to the team.
Root cause analysis on issues and nail down the reason of issue.
Maintaining working harmony.
