• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools for wearable devices (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso).
• Knowledge of Samsung-specific APIs (Preferable Samsung Watch Knox, Pro Kiosk) and features for Galaxy Watches.
• Good hands on experience in testing health and fitness tracking applications
• Good hands on experience in testing applications for smartwatches or wearables.
• Good hands on experience in creating/testing Documentation for regulatory submission
• Conduct compatibility testing across different versions of wearable device platforms (Android Wear, watchOS) and their corresponding companion apps on mobile devices.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Implement automated tests to assess the performance of wearable applications under different conditions, including battery consumption analysis.
• Conduct automated security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the protection of sensitive data transmitted between wearable devices and companion apps.
• Design and execute tests to validate the over-the-air update process, ensuring the wearable devices can smoothly receive and apply firmware or software updates.
• Automate tests to verify the correct behavior of wearable applications in different language settings and regions, ensuring compliance with internationalization standards.
• Implement automated tests to simulate error scenarios and assess the application’s ability to handle and recover from unexpected situations gracefully
