Designs test strategies, develops test plan for cloud/systems software for cloud features, networking, utilities, databases, and tools.
Reviews Functionality guides and provides upfront gaps in implementation
Writes and develops reports like scale, solution and performance for protocols/features, competitor analysis for assigned portion of application and features.
Participates in reproducing and debugging of Customer Found Defects and attend Customer debug sessions.
Leads a project team of other cloud/software systems engineers and internal and outsourced test partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development team regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Represents the cloud/software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex projects.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Knowledge and Skills:
Test cloud/software systems running on multiple platform types; run test cases in the area of functionality & system testing, negative, solution & interoperability testing, scale and performance testing.
Mush have strong exposure to ipv4/ipv6 Access Layer & L2/L3 Security, application layers
Hands on Networking L2 to L7 protocols – especially switching and routing protocols
Automation & Tools experience is a plus – UI automation tools – Selenium, Cypress, TCL, Python and Tools like Protocol Fuzzers, IXIA, STC, Nessus etc.,
Have exposure to Functional reviews, Feature and System Test plans, Regression, defect Filing etc., Have clear understanding of SDLC, Software systems testing methodology
Able to look at the Customer configuration holistically, help reproduce Customer issues, Troubleshoot and Debug issues and be able to provide workarounds
Interest in working on designs/solutions to meet requirements for new products
Networking Certification is an advantage (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/AWS)
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a high-achieving team independently and lead assignments for successful completion.
Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
What you need to bring:
BE/Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder( Tech) with minimum 5-10 years working experience in related fields desired.
