Basic Qualifications:
5-7 Years of Penetration Testing experience for Products, Applications, Networks etc.
Experience in application penetration testing (Embedded SW, Web, Mobile, thick client, IoT) with tools such as but not limited to...Kali Linux, Burpsuite, Metasploit, Acunetix, Nessus, etc.
Have knowledge and experience in OWASP Top 10 or SANS Top 25
In-depth knowledge of development processes and at least one programing or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, NodeJS, C#, C++)
Excellent knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems, Mac OS X, VMware/Xen, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
Critical thinker and problem solver
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good cyber security capabilities including application protocols, development, and common attack vectors.
Experience and knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
Bachelor’s in computer science field preferably in either computer science, software engineering, Information Assurance, and Cyber Defense or Computing Security
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools
Experience and understanding of Agile software development practices
Certifications like OSCP or GPEN
Excellent communication skills
Ability to script advanced attacks
Ability to 'fuzz' applications and protocols for new vulnerabilities and able to fully exploit newly discovered vulnerabilities.
Ability to discover advanced logic flaws and multiple step architectural errors.
Excellent understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts.
