Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive network penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses of wireless networks and IoT devices.
Design, implement and execute DDoS simulation strategies assess network resilience.
Understand DDoS attack strategies and tools (like Arbor / Google Armour, etc) to mitigate DDoS attacks.
Early detection of malicious traffic / spoofed / amplified traffic.
Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, vulnerabilities and recommended remediation strategies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities and DDoS attack techniques.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the cybersecurity team.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network penetration testing, with a focus on DDoS mitigation.
Proven experience with leading penetration testing tools and frameworks.
In-depth understanding of network protocols, security vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
Experience in designing and implementing DDoS mitigation strategies.
Strong knowledge of security best practices, risk management, and compliance standards.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
