Role and Responsibilities:
Help Lead a team of analysts performing regular attack surface discovery and vulnerability assessments.
Help to implement new techniques for ASVA capabilities, turning discovery & assessment tasks into an operational product.
Contribute to a continual improvement in our capability to discover a customer’s Public Attack Surface.
Identify opportunities for automation of discovery and assessment tasks while maintaining quality requirements.
Creatively solve problems as they arise v. relying on guidance
Act as a subject matter expert for vulnerability assessment and attack surface management within the organization.
Qualifications
Experience in a cybersecurity assessment role, typically obtained in 4-6 yrs
Experience in a tech-lead or managerial role, typically obtained in 2 years
Deep understanding of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and attack surface recon.
Experience and proficiency with Python, Linux, and AWS
Direct experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
Experience with vulnerability assessment products, such as: Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or Greenbone
Experience with network reconnaissance and discovery tools, such as: Amass, nmap, masscan, zmap, DOMLink, recon-ng, etc.
Experience with app testing & exploitation tools, such as: BurpSuite, Zap, Cobalt Strike, or Metasploit.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of major social networks and 3rd party services that organizations utilize.
Solid interpersonal and social skills
Spoken and written fluency in the English language
Desire to help lead a quickly growing team, and the ability to directly contribute to the product evolution.
Comfortable being given responsibility to meet goals and quickly adapt when the need arises.
