Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience with performance testing and benchmarking in a QA and/or application development environment.
Experience in doing performance benchmark testing on Big-Data components like Kafka, microservices, caching services, databases, NoSQL, Elastic search and etc.
Experience with developing performance frameworks for web-based applications (SaaS experience preferred).
Strong experience with performance test tools (JMeter experience desired)
Strong experience with performance monitoring tools (like Grafana, Prometheus etc.)
Strong experience with performance and stress testing in a Linux environment.
Java Performance profiling experience
Experience with developing performance frameworks for web-based, backend web-service-based applications (SaaS experience preferred).
Lead and coordinate with other QA/Performance personnel to develop cost and time-effective performance test plans and should get them executed in time.
Architect and guide cross-team efforts for manual/automated efforts
Develop tools/utilities to speeding up the performance test process
Strong Application and Database debugging experience
Strong experience with performance and stress testing in a Linux environment.
Practical programming experience in Java/Python.
Additional Competencies:
Java/Python programming a huge plus
Performance testing in microservices distributed environment.
Performance sizing and optimization technics.
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux internals
TCP/IP and network knowledge and troubleshooting
