Technical skill:
Strong performance testing experience ideally with Apache JMeter & Web service protocols.
Familiarity with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.
Experience working on Linux/Unix and Cloud environment, debug application log, run basic command to debug performance issue.
A strong knowledge of Monitoring tools that allow for analysis of system health and potential bottlenecks. i.e.- Dynatrace, Perfmon,
Knowledge of database query tools and ability write and run SQL queries.
Exposure and Hands on Application landscape (3 Tier/ N Tier) in terms Webserver, Application server,
Database - oracle, MySQL, Load Balancer
Platform exposure - Cloud/ AWS, Kubernetes
Requirement Management - Jira, confluence
App Monitoring - Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK
Service Virtualization - Stub development
Description:
Active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle. Work with project stakeholders during project definition to help the team understand risks, dependencies, and opportunities in NFR. Participate in requirements definition and review; lend subject matter expertise to projects.
Ability to create test scenarios and test plans using performance tools like JMeter and all its components / module.
Adhere to performance test framework for non-functional testing (load, volume, stress, capacity, and scalability) which validate business non-functional requirements.
Perform root cause analysis of application performance issues and suggest corrective actions.
Reviews, monitors, and summarizes progress of performance testing activities. Suggest and implement process improvements, ability to automate repetitive tasks that will accomplish team towards optimization PT process.
Assists project / business on performance requirement definition, production issue analysis.
Generate periodic application performance & Test execution reports for management review.
Business domain knowledge of Core Banking, Mobile & Net banking, Payments, Receivable, Treasure & Trade will be added advantage.
Good to have technical & programming knowledge with one or more languages i.e. Java, Python.
